Wonder if a pump out of a diesel truck would have a higher flow at low RPM.....

Could try going to the junkyard, and just grabbing the flow control valve out of the pump. Provided you could even find one in the junkyard.......

Update: redhead gear has been installed and properly bled with absolutly zero change. Any suggestions on the next step?

Gotta be the flow control valve on the pump...... or maybe the pulley is too small?

Mine seems to be intermittent light to medium pressure. I'm thinking maybe the tensioner isn't getting the belt tight enough? I'm only on little 33s so there's no excuse. Maybe that's your issue? And I have a whiney pump too.

Maybe we're getting junk 'reman' pumps like the steering gears. How much is dealer pump?
