Default Driving to Shop w/ Only Headers Equipped. Doable?

So I ordered the Magnaflow Cat System for my Truck (CA model) (y-pipe three CATs and four O2 sensors). I also ordered shorty headers ) JBA Shorties. I got the headers on but the y-pipe needs tweaking.

My question for you is, will I damage anything if I drive it to the muffler shop (2 miles away) with only the headers on, or should I tow it.

Should be ok. Loud though....... and likely set some codes as well. Leave the windows down a bit too, just to keep some good airflow thru the cab.

Had to do the same thing when I put headers on. Gonna be damn loud, especially under acceleration onto the highway or whenever under a load. Take a pair of ear muffs or plugs otherwise you'll, do some damage to your ears. Just make sure there are no wires or anything right near the exits and you should be fine

I've done this. To quieten it down, I balled up stainless screen wire, inserted it into the headers and then wrapped the screen wire around the collector. Used a large worm gear (heater hose type) clamp to hold the balled up screen wire in the header. Can't give it full throttle or the backpressure will blow it all apart.
