Differential issue

Thin piece I found. Same piece in other photos

Chipped gear on like 5 splines

Pinion gear with the meatball piece sticking out (bottom right corner)

Thin piece in the center of gearI had a howl coming from the rear end so I pulled the diff cover an found this piece is metal inside. An the yolk that connects to the drive shaft, you could wiggle it up an down. I don’t think your supposed to do that?

Any help apperciated as I am not very familiar with differential gears

Do you have the limited slip differential? If so, those are likely part of the clips that hold things together.....
