Default Track Bar help.

Went to replace my track Bar and it's been a nightmare. The stud bolt on the frame end was impossible to get off. Even my 750lbs impact gun couldn't touch it. Finally got the not off and it wouldn't come out of the taper. Well a 15 pound Sledge and a fork later it came out. Now here is where I'm stuck. The bolt/nut on the axle end. The not freely spins and I can't get a wrench on it. Any suggestions or did any of you have this problem?

It's been awhile since I changed mine. A picture would help. Can you cut the nut off, drive the bolt out, and then install it with a new nut and bolt? I'm not at home, I can't go look at mine. What year is your truck? 1500,2500, or 3500?

I was able to get a wrench onto the nut from on top...... It was tight, but, manageable.

Hole is to small to cut it. 01 2500 with 1500 axles. I tried getting a picture but didn't turn out right.

Mine has no access on the top to get to the nut.

Can you jam a punch, or something in there, to wedge it in place?

None that will stay. Here is my plan I'm going to tack weld the nut so it can't spin. Do you know where you can buy the flag nut?

Fastenal I tried a while ago and they said they don't sell those kinds of nuts. I will check Lowe's/Home Depot

What I did was just welded the nut to the bracket. That's how I got it out, and couldn't find a flag nut.
