Won't shift after warmed up
218k+ on my NV3500 and it’s getting finicky to shift into first… it doesn’t grind, just resists going in.
Backing off on shift pressure and going again seems to work (for now).
I’m sure I’ll be up for a rebuild sooner than later.
I had the factory throw out bearing go at about 110k, so replaced the clutch with a RAM brand clutch… it’s still holding out fine.

I don't think first gear is synchronized... so, a bit of effort isn't too surprising, but, if you need a LOT of effort, or multiple stabs at it, to get it to go into gear, yeah, probably on toward time for a rebuild. You got over 200K miles out of it.... That is actually pretty good.
