Default Trailer tow group.

According to my build sheet, I have the trailer tow group. However, the 7 pin connector on my trailer hitch is not Chrysler. I'm trying to install a brake controller and can't for the life of me find the blue plug next to the white box. 95 2500 5.9 v8 7500gvw. Do I even have one, or will I need to hard wire my controller?

Should be right above the connector where the main harness comes thru the firewall by the drivers feet, just to the left of the steering column.

Mine had been cut off by a previous owner..... so, it may or may not still be there.

Is it something that is easily seen? I read somewhere that 95's didn't have them. Just want to make sure I'm not on a wild goose chase.

Now that, I don't know. My 96 had the wires, but, the connector was long gone. My 98 has the connector, and the brake controller is plugged into it. (and it works....)

You have to look for it real good, I had the same issue when i got mine. I called two dealerships to see if they could tell me exactly where it was. One of them didn't even know what i was talking about. It was between the column and kick panel mixed in with the rest of the harness.

Well just took off my kick panel and still couldn't find it, I think it's safe to say that I'll have to hardwire the brake controller.
