Default Glowshift gauge install

I'm about to order some glowshift gauges for my 01 3500. The ones im thinking of order are fuel pressure 0-100psi, trans temp, and 2200 EGT gauges. I use the truck to pull a 16k camper and a 40ft goose neck trailer. It's all stock expect exhaust, and FASS 150 pump. What are some gauge setup ya run and why. I thought I saw somewhere you dont have to drill and tap a hole for EGT gauge but everything else says drill and tap. Thanks for the input.

I am going to guess you have the Cummins diesel?

Fuel pressure is a good idea, as lift pump failure is the leading cause of injection pump failure. Trans temp is good, just to know what is going on there. EGT may mean more to the diesel guys, but, I ain't one of 'me, so, no opinion there. Stock cluster covers pretty much everything else...... Going to go with one of the A-pillar gauge pods?

Yeah im going with the A pillar setup. I hear A lot of people EGT is important when pulling loads, I kinda understand why but not 100 percent. Im thinking of getting the tow max gauge set from glowshift

Do a bit of research on EGT, and where it should be. Getting too hot is indeed a 'bad thing', as parts start melting. Never a good scene. Knowing what is acceptable, and what is not, may just save your bacon. (and everyone loves bacon.... right? )
