i have a 1996 2wheel drive with 318 v8 it has a 4 speed auto tranny, found a donor truck 94-97 2 wheel drive with 360 v8 it has a 4speed auto tranny. will the transmission from the donor truck bolt up, will the drive shaft fit, do i use the 318 converter or 360 converter. the only thing i see different is the oil pans, one has a little bit different shape and is deeper than other.

 

What year, exactly, is the donor trans? Has to be 96-99, or it won't work.

 

Also, what is the production date of your truck? I have an early production date 1996 truck and it came with a 46RH transmission. It would be best (and helpful) to see photos of the electrical connectors on the original transmission.
