Unhappy 97 ram 2500 v10 wont start!

I have a 97 dodge ram 2500 v10. It has always started really strong but after disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it it wont start! I even tried jumping it. When i jump it the lights n everything are strong but as soon as i go to start it everything goes dim and the truck just "glug glug glu...". Battery reads 14v before starting. I dont know what could have happened...

You have a bad connection. Check everything you played with, make sure connections are clean, and tight.

The V10 takes a lot of amps to fire it up, so make sure your battery connections are good. Since the starter has the largest draw from the battery, I added a #4 wire from a starter bolt to the battery negative, plus I would suggest using copper or brass marine style battery terminals.

Maybe the cable itself is bad.
