Default 01 1500 Wipers stop as soon as turned off

So as the title says, on my 01 RAM 1500 the wipers stop wherever they are as soon as they are turned off. I don't know this system at all so was hoping to get some input on things to check. The wipers work fine, intermittent hi and lo. They simply park as soon as turned off. The relay is good and fuse is clearly OK (checked anyway).

Any advice is welcome. I don't know where the mechanism resides that keeps power to the motor until park is achieved. Thanks.

Me either. Just figured it was in the multi switch. Maybe time for a new one? If it does mechanically work full motion then I'd suspect electrical too.
