Well see I did replace the crank sensor. I originally thought the old tranny took a crap on me (found a band clamp in the pan) kind of figured it's why I could go faster then 30mph. Dropped the old tranny out and I didn't move the crank sensor so the bell housing did smash it oh well got another put in it. So I got the new tranny in started it up and took off down the road same problem,, it rough idles and can't do above 30 not the tranny wasted my time and money,,, front seal was leaking and I figured after I put atf instead of the atf 4 in it I burned it out but didn't think it would cus I was dumping a quart of atf4 every week into it didn't want to drop it out again fix the seal,, so when this happened it kinda acted like the tranny.. I was wrong .... My old tranny is probably good oh well. So after I took it down the road and same problem now it's worse I can't get it to turn over when it does it shakes the truck loud air sound and a weird knocking if I can keep it running,, at this exact moment I can't get it to start,,, idk at this point what is wrong beyond me I'm not a mechanic I just make things work so above my knowledge,, it would be great if it was a sensor or something idk. I need a code reader but I don't think it'll tell me much O2 sensor been disconnected wires ripped and oil Temp been off for a year no problems running, idk we're baffled by where all the oil originally went and it's seems to be flooding the block with way to much gas I tried the old WD 40 after it wouldn't start but the batteries dead from cranking and it's been such a shame maybe this info might help some insight here

If it's really flooded, push the gas pedal all the way to the floor and crank for like ten seconds.

I'm going to check the pcv tomorrow and take off the throttle body and check the plenum. I'm not sure at this point just all the options before getting another block. Any other ideas

What brand crank sensor did you install? These trucks are famous for really not liking the aftermarket sensors.

I put a lifetime warranty BWD crank sensor from O'Reilly in. But idk what you're getting at the sensor in it before worked fine before the motor started this mess. It's not the sensor something dumped all the oil out in the block and causing it to knock barely run and a lot of air sound. I'm not positive but from what I've read on this site and others it's around the plenum problem on symptoms.

What is your oil pressure at idle? Is the engine still knocking?
