Default 99 dodge 1500 5.2 4x4

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum so if its not right just let me know. Anyway I have a 99 dodge ram 4x4 1500 regular cab longbed with the 5.2 motor. My problem is trying to find the right leveling/lift kit for the truck, factory it came with a 3in block on the rear, I guess it was the towing package, anyway could anyone give me some advice for picking the right kit? Thanks!

Blocks in back are stock. All of them had them, regardless of option packages.

How much lift are you looking for? What tires size do you want to run? What gears in the axles?

I had planned on running 33s or 285/75/r16s. I had imagined around a 3in lift or level so I can clear the 33s. On the gears Idk what the ratio is but I know their stock

You can clear 295 stock. Don't need a lift for 33s but it looks better. It's what I did. Most just do a 2" level puck and drive on.

truck has 3.92 gears, found a ruff country 2.5 leveling kit that caught my eye. Planned on running 33s.

2" is about the max before you'll need longer track bar, control arms, and sway links but believe me, back in the day, people definitely used big spacers on stock parts anyway.
