Default 1995 cummins swap

Will a 1992 W250 v-12 diesel engine with a five speed manual trans interchange or work in a 1995 2500 with a v-12 diesel engine and auto trans set-up? ie: mounts, transfer case, shafts?

No it won't. The first gen trucks have a passenger side drop on the transfer case. I think the output shafts are different between the getrag and the NV4500 also.
I think the bell housing pattern is the same from the first gen and second gen 12 valves... But I'm not certain.

Thanks Frankie B,
I am checking for a friend that has a powerhouse engine in his 92 but the body is gone. He found the 95 and was hoping to put the engine and tranny in it. The 95 also needs an auto trans. I'll tell him to keep looking. What years do the 1st gen productions cover so we will know what might be compatible with that set up?

Thanks!
