Vibration problem(my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard)

May want to get the heavy duty lighting harness from LMC truck before you install the meaner bulbs. These trucks are notorious for smoking headlight switches with just the stock bulbs......

You’re on the right track! How’s your tires? If you rotated them and it’s better, then I’d be looking at condition of your tires for severe cupping and what not. Had it aligned recently? (I think you may have said you did that but I don’t want to dig through the posts ) if not, then fix all your loose front end first, then align her.

I run the 80/100 watt bulbs on a LMC Truck headlight harness and it's a big difference over stock bulbs. $3ish for Hella off road bulbs is much better than $25 for Silverstars. I have all my lights on relays so I'm not worried about the headlight switch melting.

If you want even more light then a good set of lights that fit in the holes in the front bumper is Hella FF75. They're more of a spot light pattern than flood but I have them angled out a little to light up the ditches on down the road. They use a H1 bulb and it blows away the stock high beams with the 100 watt bulbs. I also have the relay for them connected to the high beam wire so I don't have to flip another switch after hitting the high beams.

For backup lights you can get a $20 set of fog lights from Walmart and hook them up to your hitch and wire them to an accessory fuse. I have left mine on a few times so it's good that they're connected to an accessory fuse. If I don't have a streetlight around then I can't see backing up because of the window tint but these little lights fixed that and as an added bonus they'll make people flip off their high beams pretty quick when they're high beaming you from behind.
I made some little skid plates for them too so I don't rip them off when I leave the pavement.

Just got back from a 12 hour roadtrip, GVW around 10,000lbs. Truck, equipment in bed, tools in the cab, tow dolly and another vehicle on the dolly. Average 13mpg, lotsa highway, a few traffic jams, a few hours on back country roads. Vibration was much improved, it can only get better when I do the front end and replace the tires. Thanks for the help. My bladder thanks you too. Basically went from the NC/Va border, to Winnsboro NC, with a couple of out of the way stops to drop and pickup stuff. Sucks because if I make a straight run there it's just under 4 hours each way, with the added stops it's 6 each way. I go that way every couple months to help dad. His new floating dock is now launched and anchored at the end of the new dock we built. Much trenching was done to run power to the dock, 4 25ft steel poles screwed into the lake bed for the floater to sit on. (I built a fixture so we could screw them in by hand.) Ramp installed to lead down to the floater. Pirate flag was flying!

Gave up on the bulbs for now, the first set I got were not Hellas, didn't fit the housings properly and just didn't work right. I ordered up a set of actual Hellas, and apparently they are making them in China now, the first bulb came apart as I was putting it into the housing. Next time I'm in Charlotte I'll swing by a place that has them on the shelf and see if I can get a set of actual clear 80/100's. I guess quality is suffering. Shame, I have always loved the Hellas. Just noticed my wife has one out in her R51 Pathfinder. They are less than 6 month old. When I finally buy her a smaller vehicle(kids are grown to a point where we don't really need the Pathfinder for hauling them around, three are driving....) I'm going to lift that, add bigger tires, and have some fun with it. The 4WD system is pretty good, 4 wheel independent suspension, full frame, it's a pretty tough vehicle. Bigger than my Jeep, smaller than my Ram.
Side Note, Was in the work truck the other day, saw the oldest pull out from the road the school is on. I was running 70, it's a 55 zone, and she was pulling away from me. We had a chat later. She will learn after that first ticket, she thinks her insurance is expensive now........ Teenagers, apparently they know everything. I say, fine, get a job, move out, and support yourself...... She wants a new Jeep when she graduates....not gonna happen.
I may get one of those trackers that plugs into the obd port. Then she can't deny anything. I'm the evil stepdad.....
