I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.2L v8... was running great till about a week ago I was leaving my house and as I backed out into the road in front of my house it died so I put it in neutral and started just fine ... the next day I went into town with no issues and as I was leaving someones house it died in there driveway... it would just crank and crank but wouldnt start.... finally got it towed home where it now sits untouched... i have very little to no knowledge on vehicles but I know I can hear the fuel pump kicking on and I did a spark test with a flat head screwdriver and had no arch.... HELPPPPP!!!!!!!!

 

Seriously interested in finding out your issues. I also have no fuel judging by the fact that my spark plugs are bone dry.

 

Are you getting injector pulse? If you aren't getting spark, that implies the crank position sensor isn't doing its job. Its behind the passenger side head, down on the bellhousing. Yeah, it's fun to get to.
