Default Cummins swapped 1500

So I recently bought a 95 regular cab short box 1500 with a 93 5.9 12 valve and getrag 360 swapped into it. Now I'm not new to engine swaps I've done a few myself just new to the ram truck world lol my question is this... My speedometer isn't working; my local junk yard has a diesel cluster from a 99ish 24v truck. Can I make the diesel cluster work in my 1500? Even if it doesn't "bolt right in" can it be modified to work in some way? Any help is appreciated!

No. It won't work. In 98, the way the gauges got their cue changed, and the two are not compatible, newer cluster is also shaped differently.

There should be a VSS in the tailhousing of the trans, that feeds vehicle speed info to the cluster/pcm.
