All that tells you is your crank is turning in correct relation to the timing mark, I think that what you're looking for here is cam to crank relationship...are both valves closed and is the distributor rotor pointing somewhere near the #1 position because the TDC mark will come around twice on every cycle. Once for the compression stroke n once for the exhaust stroke. As far as pulling the fuel rail n injectors n firing them up while out...disconnect the ignition coil even if you think the spark is contained. If your timing is off, you don't want an ignition source anywhere near the spraying gas because you won't be able to move the fuel rail very far.

So pulled the fuel rail and injectors, cleaned and tested them all. Put back on the truck and still nothing. Also by pulling the d cap I took a look at the rotar and it is way off. So the tear down to the timing set starts. Any suggestions or advice on that?

shore sounds like a jumped timing chain. I've seen on amazon an aftermkt timing chain tensioner that I think will work on the 5.9 also. I've had no reason to pull mine apart since I discovered this little pearl, does anyone have any experience with this one? I know it fits the cam retainer holes. So when you do your timing chain, you might wanna check into this....or not.

So I wanted to do some checking before I started tearing into this thing. I started with compression

8 - 150. 150 - 7
6 - 130. 130 - 5
4 - 125. 125 - 3
2 - 105. 105 - 1

so to me that’s tells me I have jumped a tooth on my timing, would you agree?

Not from that info...150 n 130 seem pretty normal, 125 is still good, 105...getting worn out but astill in the acceptable range according to Dodge.

Right, but if I had skipped a tooth all cylinders would be low, correct?

Yes, numbers seem kinda funky/strangely uniform but that doesn't mean the timing is off...necessarily!?!
