Default aftermarket radio wiring

hey all, got a 2001 ram 1500 sport loaded. Has the infinity system in it, aftermarket amp and subs. problem im having is only the aftermarket subs are working. got the truck and nothing worked. rewired it and then only the head unit turned on. disconnected the factory amp from what i thought was the right wire and put it to the aftermarket amp and that amp turns on and off when you turn the radio on and off. anyone got a diagram on this stuff? i dont even know where the factory yellow and black goes, aftermarket orange. i dont want to pay to have this redone if i can fix it myself. i already have to bring it to a shop to have the remote start fixed so the alarm stops going off when a snow flake hits it and that its not hooked into the wrong places.

You can download a service manual for your truck from here. Wiring diagrams are in section 8W.

On your truck, the amps should be ON the speakers......

If I remember rite. Yellow off the factory harness is 24v from ignition. While red out of factory harness is full time 24v. Also, black is a ground from factory harness. They might have grounded your head to the frame behind it. And white from factory harness should not be hooked up, that's 'suppose' to be power to factory amp. Witch you don't need cause the new head should have one on the side.
here: this helped me.

Sorry, I was thinking yellow off the new harness to pink with white strip. Anyways, the wiring pic I put up should help. I did mine that way and it works perfect.
