Hey guys! Just got started on the plenum repairs and the MUCH NEEDED tuneup, I bought the truck about a year ago and obloisly the truck never has had a tune up, I mean it had the original cap, rotor, and wire's from the factory. The spark plugs looked like they had been dropped in the dirt and stuck back in. Anyway, my real question is how do I clean the oil, dirt, and corrosion off of the intake? Mabey acid, or carb cleaner? The intake has been stripped of the fuel rails and injectors so it's nothing but the keg. Any help would be appreciated!

I took mine to the local machine shop, and had it boiled out, and blasted with walnut shells. Cleaned it up really nice.
