white smoke from cummins
2002 3500 ram 4x4 quit running . Installed new air dog 100 lift pump, had the vp44 rebuilt, and installed new injectors . Had a hard time bleeding the injectors . Had to crank engine a lot to get it to start, then it put out white smoke that burned my eyes . It only ran about 5 minutes then quit , and will not restart . Any ideas ?

Other than a blown head gasket check for these issues. The fact that it stings your eyes makes me believe it's not burning coolant. Check this list.
- A clogged fuel filter
- Incorrect injector pump timing
- Worn engine (low compression)
- Water or petrol contamination of the diesel fuel
