This is a post on another forum I read.
http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/show...t=Magellan+760

I have a Garmin IQ-3600 and I love it. Actually I swapped my Magellin POS on the boat out for a new Garmin GPS as well. I am finding garmin has the most logical menus and is the easiest to use, for me at least.

Hope it helps

do these new fancy gps things hav a subscription cost to them? like a monthly fee as like XM or Serius... its funny b/c GPS is a world wide FREE service... oh yea... go to ebay and search a USB GPS antenna for 40 bux and plug it into your laptop (or desktop but what would be the point?) with some free GPS software...and there ya go!!!!

I've got a Magellan hand held gps. I can't remember the model number. The only thing I don't care for on it is how long it takes for it to lock onto the sats. Seems like 10-15 minutes before I can get a reading.[sm=headbang.gif]

Oh tani1500 You know you should buy the garmin c320! Thing is great. Battery life is crazy long. And its built in and rechargeable from the light plug.
