94 2wd wont move in any gear even neutral.

Save a bunch of money for that evolution. Gears will need to be set up properly for them to last, and not be noisy. Not something to undertake if you haven't done it before. If you have a friend that HAS done it before, successfully...... you can rent the tools to do it from your local auto parts store.

Okay, thanks for the info! is there already a thread on swapping from a open to a limited? (Dont know why there wouldnt be but doesnt hurt to ask haha)

This is one of the threads I used...very thorough. There are many potential pitfalls and I'm guessin' many unforgiving corners that can bitecha, but if you stick to the script, I found it fairly easy myself. Mine took around 6 hours from beginning to end. Went from open to LSD/9.25, replacing pinion bearings as well. The second link is for making the carrier adjuster tool instead of paring $50 for one online.

Thanks, ill check it out sometime so i can see sort of what would lay ahead if i did the limited swap. I have to say, this community is very helpful, and fast to respond too 😃 a forum im on for my car took up to a week to get a reply, let alone the couple hours it took on here lol

Well, replaced the cross pin and bolt no problem, got fluid all filled and seems to be driving just fine, but now i have another problem.. Ill make a different thread for it because my truck is pretty unusual.
