Stressed.
New here, and I've done more work on my truck, the wifes KIA,and sons Chevy Trail Blazer than any other vehicle in my life. And go figure, my truck is still out for the count. Changed plugs&wires, new distributor cap,new alternator, and today a new Downstream o2 sensor. Same problem still happens get up some speed with foot on gas pedal it hesitates, like its fighting for gas. Thing is it was doing the same thing before I changed one thing. I'm lost, can anyone give some advice. Thanks.
Get ur hands on a scanner that'll read live data, THE ABSOLUTE BEST FRIEND YOU CAN HAVE N WISEST MONEY YOU CAN SPEND AT THIS POINT.. Record data at idle,1500 n 2500 RPM. Ur looking for fuel trims/long n short, coolant temp readings, Last but not least, O2 readings...upstream should move up n down, the downstream should ideally be steady. All of these readings should be done at normal operating temps n in ur driveway. Easier to do that way.
