Not sure about temp sensor the gauge goes up and down lol here痴 the new deal sense it tried to die last time I unplugged the iac from the throttle body so it would idle higher and hit the gas to get in the garage and doesn稚 bog down...... any ideas
Yes still have cat it痴 been replaced but before me I got 2 new Denso 02 sensors haven稚 installed yet but the coolant temp sensor is new I broke it doing intake the intake temp sensor is not new
The engine should flare to around 1500 RPM when you first start it up, and slowly settle to around 8-900 when cold, 650-700 fully warm, in gear. Does it?
Hey you- yes it does seem to do so... but you can just tell it痴 not running right especially once it warms up and hits the lower rpm..... I just changed more parts which is stupid because I知 not doing any good but I just change the pick up in distributor and iac same deal...... but I did notice I let it run got almost to normal temp and had my bottle of water on the battery reached over and burnt myself on the negative cable....... can稚 be right touched it again yea I have a big red welt on my palm?????
You need to go after your grounds. Check and clean as many as you can find. That may be part of your problem...... If the cable was that hot, I would be tempted to replace it.... Also, check the main power feeds to the PDC, and down to the starter, make sure there aren't shorting out somewhere.
