10.8 Miles Per Gallon
My thought on sensors is that they are 20 years old and probably aren't reading correctly/ accurately anymore. I think I'm going to replace all of mine eventually. Have a look at the 95 Oxidizer Special in the non tech section. There are pics of doing the plenum, timing chain and E-fans.
that's true I figured most of the parts and sensors on my 95 were worn out and not reading accurately....I assume my coolant temp sensor is alright since the gauge does move and I have no trouble starting the truck, reports of a bad sensor in posts claimed it'll flood the engine thinking it's super cold outside so it won't start...that CTS is the only other thing that would/could majorly affect MPG that I haven't changed.....I'll do 3 tanks with fuel system cleaner in each tank then find out my average. I assume at its age/miles whatever I get is about whatever I'll get, I know to not expect the world out of a truck's mpg, I was just getting way worse than stock numbers there for awhile possibly due to bad gas/old sensors.....new o2 and MAP already seem to have improved stuff quite a bit though.
I know in a perfect world engines wouldn't burn any oil at all, but.....my ~24 year old truck is burning less oil than many new 2018 vehicles apparently L-O-L

abbreviation for coolant temp sensor, can make the truck not want to run at all if it goes bad, plays a big role in mpg from what I've read. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=40639&cc=1095645&jsn=481 right next to the thermostat iirc....I changed it out on my old firebird for good measure since they're cheap and it can affect stuff but it never seemed to help the car much -shrug-
there's actually a separate temp sensor on the passenger side of the keg(iirc....) that's for the temp gauge in the cluster

The other thought I have on MPG is the fuel sync can be set from -8 to +8 degrees. 16 degrees is a lot of room. I found one performance site that says they set it at +4. It's not hard to believe that would affect MPG.

Just an update on my MPG. The 10.8 was a full tank I ran through. It may have been a bad test. I filled my tank then drove 170 miles round trip and filled it again. It was mostly highway but some city and a little stop and go. I got 15.98MPG. (almost 16) I used cruise control for 1/3 of the trip.
I recently put on the NTK O2 sensor which seemed to help the idle a little. I put on the Mopar PCV valve and went from Champion platinums to double platinums. (though I should have gone with the Autolight copper plugs based on feedback on this forum)
I am still considering replacing the MAP sensor and TPS. (I will check these with a multimeter first I think) I plan on getting bluedriver so I can monitor the output of sensors. Does anyone else have BlueDriver? (OBDII reader)

Not that this is going to help my MPG but I got a second rust free southern fender. (need to prep and paint it) I also bought the driver's side back door. Unfortunately it has the VIN plate with paint code, etc on it. I'm going to try and remove the sticker and glue in on the new one. At this point the back door is pretty good. (just the seam is starting to rust a little) I am in no hurry to do this since I will have to align the door and install the speaker, etc.
I just need the driver's front door and some body work on the bed to be completely rust free. I'm trying to make this truck Minnesota proof. (that isn't really possible)

I think you can still get replacement stickers...... I seem to remember a company that would reproduce them for you.
The new fender will decrease your gas mileage. It will weigh more, as it is not rusted out.
