Default Swap a 318 for a 360

I've been contemplating swapping my 99 318 for a 360. So I'm wondering what needs to be changed for the upgrade? Mostly the computer is my worry. And is the upgrade worth the hassle? Any draw backs? Thanks for the input, Greg

It will drop right in, bolt right up, and plug right in. Use the flexplate from the 360. (and it needs to be 96 or newer) It will run on the current tune in the pcm, but, will tend to run lean in open loop. Not a good scene. You could have the dealer flash the PCM for the larger motor, or, pic on up from the aftermarket for the 360, and NOT get the infamous death flash.
