Hello all, I have made steady progress with the 96 Ram after rebuilding the rear end and the transmission. The problem I need help with now is with the A/C system. Somewhere down the line one of the owners cut two electrical wires the provide power to the compressor clutch and wired them to a toggle switch to the battery. So when I want cold air I have to pull out a switch to which if I forget to turn off when I kill the truck it drains my battery. I do see two wires that have been capped and taped up that go into a loom on the drivers side of the engine. I replaced the low pressure switch on the dryer and connected the wires from the compressor back into the harness but to no avail. So now I turn to you folks here for advice, For the record the **** on the control panel seems to be working as far as the fan blowing whether I turn it to vent going clockwise or for A/C going counterclockwise. Any help would be appreciated, it is over 90 degrees here in Tx and my son and wife dont handle the heat very well. I grew up on 2 by 60 A/C.

I am needing to know where the two compressor clutch wires connect into the harness. I have no clue what the previous owners did to butcher the a/c wiring other than they cut the compressor clutch wires and ran them directly to the battery through a toggle swich. I am going to check out the service manual link that was provided in a reply. If that doesn't help I will post some pics of what I am dealing with.
