the other possibility is that the truck runs better so you're stepping on the gas a little more. i happens
That is what I thought at first, but I kept driving slower and slower and its steadfast at 11.4. It does run better, that's for sure. I drive so slow, I get the bird constantly.

Strike two. These trucks don't like rare-earth plugs either.....

NTK or Denso O2 sensors, and standard copper plugs of your favorite brand.

there is some debate about rare earth plugs being used on these trucks. most guys say to stick with O/E copper plugs. i can't speak specifically to the NGK's though.

^ beat me to it

My problem is the fuel economy didn't change at all when I replaced anything, so I doubt those are my problem.

you replaced parts, but not with parts that are recommended. it could be offsetting other repairs you made.

start with the cheap easy stuff first

All repairs were one at a time to see impacts on fuel economy. Nothing has yet to impact the fuel economy.

You can take our advice, or not. That's up to you. But, we already know these trucks don't like those parts, and if you search, you will find many instances of folks discovering it the same way you did. By changing parts, and making things worse. The O2 sensor especially plays a BIG role in fuel economy. Replacing a failed sensor, with a junk sensor? No surprise that nothing changed. You might be able to get away with the platinum plugs, some folks do. Most..... do not.
