Have you changed the soft lines on the front brakes yet?
My trucks (96, 98, and 01) have RWAL and don't have that big mess there. That is suppose to be for 4 wheel ABS I thought

4wal has the motor on it as well. Needs to be able to pump it's own fluid. That's just a dump valve in the pic.

Mine either. '95 diesel, there's only combination valve, and RWAL-valve under the master cylinder.

Sure have. New hoses made no difference.

Seems the ABS situation has stirred up some controversy lol. Again I have no idea if its part of the issue I'm having, but I know PO messed with a lot of stuff. Under dash wiring was a birds nest of crap I had to clean out.. He went as far as to remove the passenger airbag to stuff a CD disk changer in that compartment! I saw the abs connectors hanging down and figured he messed with something...

Passenger side brake get's its feed from the drivers side, and that funky junction. The steel line then runs along the frame to the passenger side. Might check and see if that line got crimped somewhere.

i dont think that unused connector was done by the PO. I believe thats a connection port for the dealer or possible for a more optioned truck. My 01' Has the same unused connector there on the fender.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll check on the brake lines condition later today...

Good to know about the ABS connectors. Thanks for clarifying! I was in for a nice surprise when I went to go intall a 4WABS brake hose on a 2WABS system. Dohh!!

So I checked the FR brake line and it LOOKS great.

Im leaning towards the issue being a potential internal blockage in the FR brake line, or a faulty caliper..

Im going to try dicsonnecting the FR brake line at the hose and see if I can pump any "blockages" out, and most likely replace the FR caliper again..

My FR brake has been squeaking under certain applications, and it hasnt been keeping up with the FL caliper at all.. And Ive already replaced the FL caliper for sticking, yet the "new" one performs exactly thesame. I would think a 1500 with 8800gvw calipers and no FWABS would be pretty easy to lock up both sides afterall..
