It's possible the front wheel bearings are bad yet. Spinning them by hand isn't the same as having pressure on them. You said you heard scratching after removing them. I'm not a fan of the unitized bearings. Drive it awhile, they don't seem to last long once they start going bad. Just don't go on a long trip.

I am sorry, just been busy...all my vehicles "let's break down clocks" went off at the same time(I am truly sorry :b). I couldn't find his video but I know it's there. He did one on finding noises on a vehicle... The tool don't have a name you can see but I'm going to try and find the name for you. Give me a few hours.

Due to more research the company they made mine no longer exists. I'm going to search to see if I can find a cheaper option. I only ever used mine once but it did work.
