Default Trans Codes P0711 and P1763

86K on truck. Wouldn't move in drive, limp mode. It's been out in the desert sun, besides the paint it looks new inside and undercarriage. I rebuilt this transmission with some upgraded parts. Zip kit, Alto reds, Kolens, metal accumulators ect. I upgraded to the Borg Warner Governor Pressure Transducer solenoid and didn't replace the Governor Pressure Transducer sensor. Got the codes so I put a new Mopar transducer in it yesterday and it got rid of the P0711 but it still has the P1763. I'm dropping the pan again to check wiring. All grounds have been cleaned. I drilled out the check valve in the cooling lines and cleaned them out. It has the, reverse works but in limp mode for fwd gears. I'm going to unplug the 8 pin connector and see how it goes for manual shifting/driving. The TV cable is adjusted, made sure about 10 times. I'm assuming the new transducer sensor is not working or the new solenoid itself. Any other ideas I should look at? It has a new torque converter.

Check the connector on the outside of the trans as well. The wires like to pull out a bit, and short together right at the connector.

Took it out for a 1 mile drive manually shifting with the 8 pin connector on. 1-D works shifting manually. In 1st it will light the rear tires up with the brake peddle applied and 10 year old hard tires. Checked the codes again after getting home, P0711 came back and P1763. So I'm happy the trans works mechanically after rebuild and no weird smells. The truck is too hot to work on, it's hot outside and in the garage, and the 4th of relaxing. Electrical checks tomorrow.

OP did you ever find the fix? I'm looking at the a same symptoms but wanting confirmation of some sort before I pull the trigger on the pressure sensor and solenoid.

I had a pin on the 8 pin connector that I bent trying to put on the connector after rebuild, this is what set my codes. I bent the pin back up and codes were cleared. During this time of enlightenment, a Governor Pressure Sensor and heavy duty Governor Pressure Solenoid replaced the stock pieces. I used this kit https://www.ebay.com/itm/Governor-Pr...-/322527638405 just to replace all of the old stuff and stopped being cheap. At this time I also replaced the shifting/TCC solenoid unit. I had to use the old harness vice the new one with a broken connector. Don't be a Mark, don't be cheap. You need these parts for your fix, a Governor Pressure Sensor and Borg Warner heavy duty Governor Pressure Solenoid at minimum if the codes just popped up.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it! I also appreciate the link, I like the heavy duty sensor and the cork gasket. I went ahead and ordered it, should be here by Friday so I'll update this weekend after I get in there and change things out.
