A water pump has a weep hole on the bottom that leaks when the bearing in the pump is going out. If it's leaking there you need a new pump

That's likely the weep hole for the water pump. That means an internal seal is failing, and it's time for replacement. All of the bolts on the water pump go into the timing cover horizontally, no vertical bolts.
