How in the heck do I snake the replacement lines back in there? The one closer to the front of the transmission seems impossible because of how close the exhaust down pipe is to the transmission. Any advice? I took the starter off to gain a little more room but still can't get it. I'm ready to cut the steel lines and then splice back together with hose. Bad idea? Thanks!

 

Not a bad idea just a weak point if pressure rises. I would remove the Y pipe
