That does leave a nice finish on the fuel rails.

And you can tint that any color ya want? Is that the three step version? (base, metal spray, clear coat?)

Yes any color (even Purple ). You can do it like that it there is another part to do it by chemicals. My sand blaster messed up (working on that now) or the thermostat housing would have came out better

You were impatient. And wanted to play with the new toy, as opposed to fixing the old one.

Yeah, I know how that goes.

Yeah if you look at the fuel rail above it you can see where I got to impatient and started putting the injectors back in before it was dry

I got the crank back and installed it last night. It's awful tight and I have no clue why. A spring and retainer went flying through the garage and lost that. So either have to try and find it or order new ones if you can just get 1 of each. Other than that the heads are done and the intake is done. A cam bearing is bad so I'm going to replace just that one as the rest are in good shape.

Did that just seems tight it spins but it takes some force. Could be normal.

I believe it is normal, just have to break it in. We'll know if she blows . Ran into another problem 2 cam bearings are shot so I have to rig a tool to install the bearings
