Good to know! How are you going to do the visors, aren't they sowed?

No they’re not sown... it is wrapped then folded together... the fabric is held at the seam by barbs.

So for disassembly I’ve just pried the seam apart enough to get the old fabric out... the plan is to push the new fabric in between the barbs with a clean putty knife.

I’ve never been shy about pulling things apart... that’s how you figure out how they work.
In this instance, worst case I have to get new visors... not like I didn’t need them anyway.

There usually my logic but upholstery gets expensive if you mess up they wanted $300 just to do my headliner in my other truck.

I think I have about $80 total in mine, including the insulation.

Yeah it's always cheap if you do it yourself, don't you live in California?

well got the interior almost done and got the fenders and core support painted. The fenders were shot, I rigged them to last the winter, so they are temporary. Won't get to paint the truck until next summer it looks like as I finally started working on the barn again making it into a garage. Just have to get the truck inspected
