Default On Board Air

Now that I recieved everything for the axles, I'm into designing the lift and oba.

For the air in in a toss up.
Use electricA yorkOr Extreme Air they is like a York but they claim is better. I have this one on another truck and it's nice but since this one is getting twin turbos I fear the turbos will be in the way.

If you guys have any opinions let me know!

Well, the york compressors need some variety of oiling system, and then you need to get the oil back out of the air, once compressed...... The ExtremeAir fellers just have a grease fitting..... not sure often they need to be greased.... or what their duty cycle is... but, they are also quite a bit smaller, so, easier to find a spot to put 'em.

They told me about every 1500 hours of it running. I'm jumping the gun but I would like to have everything here for the summer so when I make the trip your way everything is done.

I kinda like the extremeair fellers. Not having to deal with oil in the lines sounds like a great idea to me. 8 cfm at 100 PSI sounds pretty good too, though, they don't say at what RPM you get that kind of flow. (at least, not that I saw.....) Put a tank in there somewhere, and you could run all the air tools you wanted, regardless of where you were.

Default Steering Wheel Cover

Finally got my WheelSkins cover installed. It turned out ok for doing it in the dark in 10 degree weather . I got to wait to see if I'm using my 3rd gen wheel or another one before I order a full replacement cover.

Woah, looks good. Tried getting wheel covers like that for both my 2nd and 3rd gen trucks but couldn't find them. Had to settle for the usually covers.

Thanks! I know WheelSkins makes one for that style wheel. To can upgrade to the later 2nd gen wheel easily if you want! You can even upgrade to a 3rd gen wheel
