Default AC compressor disconnect

Truck is a 98 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.9L. I need to move the AC compressor to the side to get some engine work done and it appears the AC compressor clutch wire does not have a disconnect. Am I simply not finding it or do I need to snip the wire? I can follow the wire from the front clutch behind the pulley to the wire loom next to the valve cover on the driver side and see no signs of a disconnect. Would it be buried in the loom somewhere?

The connector should be less than 3 inches away from the compressor...... did someone splice the wires together??

No splicing that I can see unless it is inside the loom. The wires run from between the pulley and compressor housing and go straight into the plastic loom between the valve cover and fuel injector railing. I'll try and get a picture tomorrow when I get home to see if that better explains what I am seeing.

Peel back the loom a bit, see if the connector is just buried in there.

In the attached picture I have circled the wire I am talking about. I am not home until tomorrow but captured this off a video to note what wire I am talking about. Is the disconnect for that wire just buried back in the loom? I already disconnected the connector with the red lock and the other connector you see on the compressor.

Hhhmm..... Yeah, follow it back, there IS a connector on there, somewhere relatively close.
