Default 01 ram 1500 sport off road pAckage 3.55 rear to 4.10 gear ratio ?? Same carrier ?

ok so i have a 01 ram 1500 sport off road package from my understanding these come with dana44 front with 4.10 gears front and 9.25 chrysler rear axle with also 4.10 ratio so it broke and could not find one anywhere extremely hard to find that axle with 4.10 so i threw in a 9.25 rear with 3.55 gear ratio will the same carrier work if i switch to the 410 gears ?? Have not tried running it in 4x4 will it be a big difference or break possibly ?

Don't run it in 4 wheel drive with mismatched gears. You WILL break something. (and its typically something expensive.....)

Which axle did you break? I think 4.10 is the break point in the d44, and it just doesn't matter on the rear axle, they all used the same carrier.

All 9.25 ratios have the same carrier, when the D44 carrier break is 3.73/3.92.
