Almost feels like it's coming from beyond motor though. Maybe torque converter?

Would anything in the trans cause this? Truck has always had a small whine noise coming from somewhere but hasn't had any other symptoms till now. Almost feels like a slip but have read that's not really what a trans slip is

Have you check u-joints? A dry one might produce that kind of feeling.....
