So I had the wrong size socket, I’ve called OReillys, Advanced, Autozone, Ace hardware, and Menards and nobody has that 1-11/16” socket
Any suggestions on where to find this socket?
The best I could do is a socket above that size maybe a little, but I don’t want to strip it. Could I do a 1-3/4”?

Lowes? Sears? You really need the right size, as that feller is torqued to something stupid like 180 ft/lbs, or more......

sears had one!! Thanks, but now I’ve got those back three bolts out of the back of the hub thing, but like you said it’s fused together lol. Any tricks on that? I’ve been trying to hammer a flat head between the two but that’s not working out too well, already broke the end of one screwdriver.

PS Axle nut is off via a 9 foot black steel pipe from menards 😂 lol

Trick is to use your power steering as muscle. You want to cut a long bolt so that it fits between the axle ear and the retaining bolt. Just back it out like 1/4 inch, then get that long bolt between the backed out bolt and axle ear... now turn the steering wheel to apply pressure. You really want to spray pb blaster or equivalent in there as you can. Once you get it even a little loose, stop and spray the pb in there and give it a few minutes to do its thing. Progress to another bolt that is backed out. Be patient, and you won't break anything. DO NOT OVER STEER and break something...

Here is a youtube example, he used an expensive socket.... Of course mine took a while, it was SUPER fused and I worked it off slowly. So don't go crazy applying pressure if it doesn't just pop off.

I use a Chisel and pound it between the axle C and the hub. The top on my hub has a notch in it (maybe for this reason?) But I go in there first using a 5 pound mini Sledge. They make a tool ghost removing hubs toy could make if you can weld. You bolt the part with the holes to the studs and on the square tubing hit it with a hammer (see where they welded a plate). Then before you install the new one use antiseize and it will come right out.

Shoot, I’ll do that tomorrow then, as I live in an apartment complex, can’t just start this thing up and let it run because I’ve had like three complaints already, but thank you, I’m hoping that’ll just work tomorrow and the rest seems simple enough! Thank you!
