Can anyone share photos of a factory rear sway bar installed on a 2nd gen 2500 truck?

Default Can anyone share photos of a factory rear sway bar installed on a 2nd gen 2500 truck?

I just picked up a used factory rear sway bar (came off a 1998 Ram 2500 truck) that connects to the shock mounts of my Dana 60 rear. I'd like to better understand how the sway bar links off the front of the bar connect to the truck. My used rear sway bar did not come with the sway bar links, but they appear available at parts stores. Does anyone have any photos or diagrams that they can share that show the rear sway bar link connections to the truck?

That's perfect. Where did you find this photo? Now, I just need to find the two frame mounts for the sway bar end links circled in the photo in red.

Please take a look at the salvage yard when you go.

If someone knows the part number for these brackets, please let me know.

I'm going at the end of this week I have a personal junkyard and none of the trucks have that mount.

If they are nowhere to be found, those mounts are rather easy to make from rectangular tubing.

C channel would be better.... Probably wouldn't be that hard to cut/bend some out of flat stuck either.

I was able to find the brackets NOS - part 53038700 - hopefully, they will be here soon.

I checked my truck's frame and found the bolt holes for the brackets on each side towards the back of the rear wheel well area.

I think you'll have a hard time with one side. I have links, but the driver side caused me to stop in my tracks - couldn't back out the bolt - I can' remember exactly what it was, maybe the gas tank?
