Hmmm. the readings i took where the output voltage. Cause like i said the manual only told me the middle wire was the output. So thats what i tested. And my results where the .33 at idle and 1.97 at wot. It says any above .33 at idle and below 4.95 at wot is fine. ?
If the sensor isn't getting a proper 5 volt input signal, output signal is going to be skewed as well. I would be interested to see what the PCM thinks throttle percentage is when you have the pedal on the floor. (need a scanner for that.)
Ok, numbers don't look too bad...... I would like to see a higher percentage of WOT.... but, much you can do there. I am REAL curious why the voltage is so low at WOT though. It *should* be greater than 3 volts.......
Ill test it again after work with my new sensor on there and see if its reading different. I may have tested the wrong wires. I tested the output signal, not input. I didnt know witch one was witch. Witch wires should i be testing if your looking at the sensor plugged in and hooked up. The middle and left? Middle and right?
I figured out i had my meter on the wrong scale. Its at .57 idle and 3.60 wot. I tested and had my 5 volts, and a good ground. So that sensor is working as should. Im probably going to throw a new iac at it as well, see if that dont help. My pcm mustve just learned my new tps cause the truck feels alot more responsive today.. Now when i try to idle it by barely pushing on the pedal the rpms jump to about 1700 now. Anything else i should look at?
