Loose ends
We bought a new ring and pinion from rock auto for our 2000 Ram 1500 and then I purchased the bearings from ebay and they both say 9.25 but the bearings are super loose. My guess is I got the wrong bearings. Are the not suppose to be tight on that pinion? Video follows. Ok it's not accepted. If anyone can help I can email it to you.

+1, the inner is a pain to install w/o the right tools. Perhaps they sent you a setup bearing, one that is close but not tight so you can play with the shims to get the right tooth mesh. I haven't looked at that axle, alot of them have a crush sleeve (one time use) to setup the load on the outer pinion bearing. If you haven't done this before, I'd suggest taking it to someone that has the tools and experience to get it done right. Wrong mesh can cause you much grief, and w/o the special tools - you'll screw around installing/reinstalling with different shims to get the right mesh.
