only contacts that made visible were turnsigs and flashers. which contacts were corroded that stopped intermittent wipers from working?

correction, I bought a whole steering column last week - so I have 3 of those MF switches laying around now.

In the part where it plugs in with the column harness it can be taken apart and inside there was corroded.

So you are saying take it apart further than I have it now, or just the pins that I have exposed in the picture?

Take it apart further. You'll see how it works when you rotate the end of the lever. Make due those contacts are clean.

Yep, dug the plastic out of the housing, unclipped the cover - found the white slider mechanism... cleaned those little contacts and where the slide... all back together... tried it... same problem. :-/ CTM back on the acquisition list... Of course, could be a bad ground for that thing too, I've had more than my share of bad ground issues.
