Default Can my transmission be saved?

I have a 1997 dodge ram 2500 5.9L 360 Sport with 130k miles, with I believe a 46re tranny. Recently the radiator split and pumped coolant into the transmission. Trans now has a great loss of power and won't shift out of second gear.

My question is, If I drain the tranny, and change the fluid what are my chances that the transmission will be fine? Or should I just go ahead and pull it out and have it rebuilt?

Any advice is greatly appreciated,
Jack

Pull it, and have it rebuilt. It's going to need it anyway. The adhesive the uses to hold the friction material to the clutch plates is, unfortunately, water-soluble. So, the clutches are going to fail soon anyway. (if they haven't already) Wouldn't be a bad time for some upgrades.
