2001 Ram 2500 360 Idle issues
I have an 01 Ram with the 360 in it. Im having trouble a few mins after i start it up. Runs perfectly fine for a few mins then starts throwing a fit and wants to stall out and sometimes does stall out. But once i let it run for around 10 mins it runs fine and drives down the road perfectly fine. Just changed cap and rotor today and did the pluges a few months ago.. Any hel would be much appreciated
i hate to be a pain, the truck is my uncles and i drive it back and fourth to work so i dont know much about it but i do know my way around a vehicle but not to sure where the o2 sensor is
well from what i just looked up is that the truck has 2 o2 sensors, one infront of the cat and one behind the cat..I googled it and i came across a thread on here that kind of explained it..im gonna check and see if this is correct and will check back here. Thanks for all your help, its much appreciated
ok i found the 2 o2 sensors, the one infront of the cat and one behind it,if theres anymore im not sure where so i unplugged the one in fornt of the cat..So ill find out around 330 when i leave for work..Ill update later on today..thanks again
well so far that seems to be my problem..I started it up like usual about 10 mins before i get ready to leavt. It sat their and idled fine, got in it and hit the gas a few times and took off and seems to be running perfectly fine..Im gonna give it a day or 2 to see if it continues to run fine because after i changed the cap and rotor and first fired it up it seemed fine but the problem came back the second time i started it back it..but keeping my fingers crossed, but i think that is definitely my problem..Ill check back in a day or two to let u know..thanks again for the help, its greatly appreciated my friend

Let us know if it runs any better. (It WILL turn on the check engine light......)
