Heater
yeah, my ac will freeze me out. Heater dont make sence. I manuaIly turned blend door didnt help. I also back flushed from return hose throughwater pump. Only green coolant came out easy
The blend door I think fails in the cold position so you would have to physically hold it there. You want to backflush from the nipples coming out from the firewall. I would say you still have air in the system then
yeah, i took off motor and turned blend door. I can feel and hear it open all the way. Then air went from cold to warmish. I could even hear a change in the sound of the air flow. Any idea how to get the air out? Thanks
Park it nose up and even jacked up on the passenger side. You want the radiator fill the highest point. Start engine with heat on full hot. Get to running temp for several minutes.
This, however, has never worked for me. Mine never needs bleeding. All I do is dump coolant in, drive it around, and all is good.

so when you squeeze upper hose it allows more coolant to fit? Sorry for the dumb ?
Did you replace the water pump? That's what mine did when it was failing on my Durango
previous owner said he replaced 3 years ago
