Yeah, it can be a pain to get it all out. Trouble is, the heater core outlet is the highest point in the cooling system. Installing a bleed there would probably work really well. Just a pain to get to. (and almost impossible on the 8.0.... its CROWDED back there.

thanks. Mine is the 5.9 . do u know the size T to get? Home depot? Clear hose and valve?

Just get a flush kit, it will come with a couple different T's, with caps. Install the correct one, start the engine, let it run at idle, and loosen the cap. Let it flow until no more air comes out, tighten the cap. (really should take more than a few seconds.....) Do NOT take the cap OFF, just loosen it up enough so it is no longer sealed. (can make a BIG mess in a hurry.)

ok, thanks. We do the ac and heat work on the building at the local dodge dealer. Just talked to a tech and he said air was pretty common on the 2nd gen
