Default 4 home injector part number??

I know this has been talked to death it this is a little different. The only thing I’m looking for is help figuring out a part number or link to buy injectors that are 4 hole. I’m hoping the better fuel atomization will put some pep back in my 01 5.9s step since my injectors are worn out, maybe bring that fuel mileage back up a bit from the 8 I’m getting

Probably just a new set of injectors, that are flow balanced would be good. The way they are supposed to work is, the injector shoots the gas at the back side of the hot intake valve, which flash-vaporizes the fuel.

I think Bosch makes them, I believe there is a post here somewhere about them( someone installed them). They are supposed to get better atomization but i haven't seen any hard data to prove it. I think this may be it...

Stock 5.2/5.9 injectors (they're the same part on both) are; Siemens 53030778 (EV1) 21.9lb/hr@43.5 PSI (23.2@49psi) 12ohm.

On my 5.2 I'm using Bosch #0280155784, which are 4 port (EV6) 22.3lb/hr@43.5psi (23.7@49psi) 12.5ohm.
I got these from; MotorMan... He has just about any injector you'd want, at fair prices.

EV1-EV6 Adapter; Ford M-14464-A8 from Route 66 Speed Shop

I can't comment on performance changes associated with these alone, as I changed several other parts at the same time.
The only thing noted that maybe solely attributed to the injector change is a smoother idle.

Okay here’s a question, my buddy’s truck and my truck have the same engine but different injector connectors. Would an 01 be ev1 or ev6??
