i have a 98 and have been using it on it. the interior is a little diffrent (who needs a book for the interoir anyways lol) but the mechanical and eletrical is the same so far

in 2001 ( i think)
dodge engine wiring wend from a muiti wire system ( forgot the name) to a 2 wire CCD bus system
so alot of the wiring from the computers back will be different.

And if you are swapping in a 1999 5.9L into a 1997 Jeep wrangler, you need a 1996-2000 FSM. HELP!!!!! ANYONE?

Some of it will...but a lot of it won't.

I just tried it and it works for me, very slow but it works. there may be a problem with the server where the file is stored. you could start the download later or start it and come back in the morning... (jk).
